LAND MANAGEMENT
Oil Palm Plantation
The Pahang State Executive Council has approved in principle to PCMS to develop 12,615 acres of oil palm plantations in Rompin District, Pahang. Under this project, PCMS has been tasked to legalize the land that has been developed illegally. By legalizing the status of this land, the state will be assured of its income in terms of payment of premium and the yearly quit rent. In return, PCMS leases this land to the existing developer. The lessee pays to PCMS an agreed amount of yearly rental and this has become the biggest contributor to PCMS revenue.
